I am Chris, founder of the Golf Wellness website and experience. For over three decades, I have been involved in all aspects of golf, first as a caddie, then as a turf care employee, and finally, as a golf professional. Golf has been my passion and livelihood for many years, and I am looking forward to sharing some of my experience with you!

Driven to Succeed in Golf

I was introduced to golf at the age of 12 by my grandfather. It didn’t take long before I was hooked on the game! I enjoyed playing, practicing, and preparing for each round of golf – every day was an opportunity to improve. I knew early on that golf was going to be an integral part of my life experience. Many of my early goals were geared towards being the best golfer I could be!

After playing in high school and competing as an amateur, I focused my college years on learning more about the business of golf. I began caddying at the local golf club – I also worked in turf care during the summer months to supplement my income. Upon graduating from college, I got my first job as an assistant golf professional. I have been an active PGA professional since 1995.

I Want to Help You Play and Enjoy Your Golf Experience

The great Arnold Palmer is quoted as saying, “Golf is deceptively simple and endlessly complicated; it satisfies the soul and frustrates the intellect. It is at the same time rewarding and maddening – and it is without a doubt the greatest game mankind has ever invented.” I could not agree more! Golf gives us the opportunity to experience nature, spend quality time with others, and express ourselves in ways that we may not even realize.

My hope with this website is to give golfers of all abilities insight into how to improve and enhance their enjoyment of this great game. The goal is to provide you with ideas, strategies, and inspiration that can lead to better scores, as well as a greater understanding of yourself and your potential.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me, and for being a part of this great game! If you have any questions, feel free to leave them below and I will be more than happy to help you out!

All the best,

Chris Rogers
